Strategic Problem Solving for Managers
This workshop introduces managers to the concept of strategic problem solving and provides a structured process for thinking about addressing problems in their departments or across departments. Its purpose is to move participants from a natural tendency to think about problems and then implement a "quick fix" solution to thinking through complex problems, conducting root cause analysis and how to involve other members of the team in the process to ensure long-lasting comprehensive solutions.
Taking Corrective Action
Designed for supervisors and middle management, this is a customised workshop specifically tailored to your company and its disciplinary procedure. The workshop is interactive with practical workplace examples and case studies being used. The following content is covered:
-Introduction to Labour Legislation
-How to take progressive and corrective discipline
-Introduction to poor performance management
-Review of Company’s disciplinary policy and schedule of offences
-How to initiate a disciplinary enquiry
